Andrew Bailey, the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association's 2010 Native Son award-winner, was named the American League Rookie of the Year after his incredible season with the Oakland Athletics. PSWA honors Villanova’s 1985 NCAA championship team

On Monday night, April 1, 1985, the script was written for legendary coach John Thompson and his Georgetown Hoyas to coast comfortably to an NCAA basketball championship.
