Willie Green, PSWA 'Good Guy'

Philadelphia 76ers guard Willie Green has been selected as the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association’s ‘Good Guy’ award-winner for 2010.

Green will accept the award at the Philly Sports Wrtiers’ annual Awards Dinner on Monday night, Feb. 1. The banquet will be held at the Crowne Plaza on Route 70 in Cherry Hill, and it is open to the public. Tickets are $75 apiece, and can be purchased by clicking here.

Green was a second-round pick in the 2003 NBA draft who was traded from Seattle to the 76ers in a draft-night swap.

As a recipient of the PSWA Good Guy award, Green joins the company of a long list of successful and popular athletes who played in the Philadelphia area. (A list of previous award-winners follows the video below.)
