Banquet features Silent Auction of sports memorabilia

During the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association banquet on January 30, dinner guests are invited to participate in a Silent Auction, featuring memorabilis from the sports and entertainment worlds.

A unique “First and Last Bidding Process” allows two winners for items: One to the first bidder at the Minimum Bid, and one to the “High Bidder.”

Guests can view and bid on items before and after the start of dinner, in the showroom just across the hall from the banquet hall.

Sports Items will include pictures and equipment (some Autographed) from the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, Yankees, Golf Greats, Muhammad Ali and 1980 USA Olympic Hockey team.

Entertainment items will include Caddyshack, Rocky, Rolling Stones, Jimmy Buffet, Bruce Springsteen, Dean Martin & Frank Sinatra, Rat Pack, Three Stooges, Justin Bieber and more.

All credit cards are accepted.

The public is welcome at the dinner. Tickets are $95 apiece, and are available by clicking here.

Doors to the banquet open at 5 p.m.. with the dinner starting promptly at 6:30 p.m.
